From 1926 to Today: Welcoming the Next Generation at SF Taylor

If you started at SF Taylor in 1926, your first week would have looked very different.

The sound of traditional printing presses filling the factory floor. Ink-stained hands. Manual typesetting. Paper ledgers instead of laptops. A print industry built on craftsmanship, precision and hard work.

100 years later, so much has changed.

Technology has transformed the way we work. The industry has evolved at an incredible pace. Print is now smarter, faster, more connected and more sustainable than ever before.

But while the tools may have changed, one thing hasn’t:

People remain at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we’re so pleased to welcome our two newest apprentices, Ben and Ben, who joined SF Taylor last month as part of our continued investment in the future.

As we prepare to celebrate our centenary year in 2026, welcoming the next generation into the business feels especially meaningful.

Because our story has never just been about print.

It’s about people.
Learning new skills.
Sharing knowledge.
Creating opportunities.
And continuing to evolve for the next 100 years.

Apprenticeships play an important role in bringing fresh perspectives, new ideas and future talent into our industry. They also help ensure that the experience, creativity and expertise built over generations continues to grow and develop.

Ben and Ben are joining a business with a century of heritage behind it — but also one that is firmly focused on the future.

As we continue our “100 Years of Print, People and Progress” celebrations, moments like this are a reminder that progress never stands still.

From traditional presses in 1926 to the next generation of talent in 2026 and beyond, we’re proud to continue building a future driven by innovation, creativity and people.

Because at SF Taylor, we’ll always Believe in More.
